Homelessnes in College
Homelessness among college students has become a problem, especially those attending community colleges. According to a 2019 survey (+o- 167,000 college students,), The Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice in Philadelphia has found that 17% of community college students experienced homelessness. And half reported housing insecurity either by paying only part of their rent, skipping utility bills, or sleeping on friends’ couches and sometimes in their cars.
In collaboration with our strategic partners and government resources, we provide help and support for students facing homelessnes.
Please keep those donations coming, and keep these programs going.
